Tolerance. Aspiration. Achievement.
Have you ever felt like you wish you were somewhere else and that your learning is not important? If yes then you know how I feel every Maths lesson and what makes it more bad is that my teacher (whose jokes are the worst in the world) always asks me questions and never lets me fall asleep in his lessons.
I do like puzzles and this is quite mathematical. I like the challenge they bring and the fact that you have to try and understand their meaning.
I have, sort of, learnt to like (not love) fractions because they are sometimes difficult to work out and I see them as a puzzle. Every puzzle has a solution and I like the believe that every problem can be solved.
Mr Wong helps me (his jokes are so not funny) because he explains things without using mathematical terms.
Looking more into it I have discovered a secret to maths that I never knew. Maths is something that can help you reach the dreams you never thought you could achieve. You don’t have to like something to be able to help you reach your goals. If you work hard and listen to the lesson that you dislike then think it will get you where you want to be. If you try, I will too.
Going to work on loving this subject. Need to convince myself its fun!
