Year 11 and 12 Social Sciences students attended a CSI workshop today. They had a great time finding out the identity of the dead body, including sexing the skeleton, identifying hairs and fibers under microscopes and collecting and analysing fingerprints.

Next Wednesday, staff and students on the Zanzibar trip will be spending a day rowing in the study zone. Every pound raised helps us cover travel, classroom supplies and community project materials, making this incredible experience possible for our students.

Here are a range of services that are available to Children and Families in Warwickshire that you may find beneficial:
*Family Support Worker Duty Line*
This will enable families and practitioners to access a same-day telephone consultation regarding parenting, behaviour and wider family concerns. The service provides information, advice and guidance, including support for young parents, families with children under five, children with SEND, and access to services available through Children and Family Centres. The focus is on providing community-based support, signposting and early intervention rather than allocated casework.
Family support workers are available across Warwickshire to listen, support and offer advice and guidance to families and professionals. You can contact a family support worker through the support line or a face-to-face consultation. To speak to a family support worker over the telephone, call 01926 414144 option 1, then option 2, Monday to Friday between 9am - 4pm.

Weather Update - Wednesday to Friday 😎
In light of the weather forecast and the anticipated heatwave for the next few days, we have made the decision to allow students to wear their RFSS PE kit for the remainder of this week to help them remain comfortable during the higher temperatures.
We also encourage all students to bring a refillable water bottle to school, stay hydrated throughout the day, and apply sun-screen before arriving at school if appropriate.
We will continue to monitor the weather closely and will communicate any further updates should the forecast change. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
* Year 6 parents - a message has been sent out today regarding uniform on Wednesday.
