Student's in Year 9 were involved in a STEM trip to the F1 Williams team HQ in Grove. Their visit consisted of workshops involving crumple zones and creating nose cones for a F1 car, whilst also considering their budget of £100,000.
There was some fierce driving in the e-sports lounge where students raced against each other, as well as with staff to become champions of various circuits from around the world.
Finally students had a museum tour where the rich history of Williams was explained and they got to see some historic cars from the F1 era. The students represented the school with impeccable behaviour and showed enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the day highlighting some of the schools key values.
